*Special services include audiology, occupational therapy, parent-child groups, parent
counseling/training, physical therapy, preschool classrooms, special education and
speech-language therapy.

Certification:

CCHS audiologists and speech-language pathologists have Master's Degrees, are
certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and are
licensed by the New York State Department of Health.

Our Ph.D psychologists are behavior specialists and provide evaluations, parent training
and parent-child counseling.

Special areas of expertise include preschool and school-age speech and language
disabilities, Apraxia/Dyspraxia, Deaf and Heard-of-Hearing (Aural
Habilitation/Rehabilitation), Cochlear Implants, Central Auditory processing,
Augmentative Communication and Oral Motor Training.

Our special educators have Master's degrees and are licensed by the New York State
Department of Education. They provide classroom teaching, in-home education services
and evaluations.

Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services are provided for our groups and
classes by in-house occupational therapists and Pediatric Physical Therapy Services
(Pia Stampe, Director). All occupational and physical therapists are licensed by New
York State and provice classroom and in-home evaluations and therapy.

Some of our staff are trained in Sign Language and Cued Speech to assist our clients
and their families.
